Create More Power With Your Swing

There are three issues you need to know to create more
power with your swing. The first is,your left and right wrist
should work in two ways. The left should work in an up an
down manner, like when using a hammer motion.Your right
wrist should in a backward bending motion.

Throughout the swing, your forearms should roll over one
another. The right should roll over the left through impact.
The roll begins before impact and is completed before the
end of your swing.

Shifting of your weight is crucial for more power.Start
by
swinging on an upslope, and make sure to finish on
your
front foot.

How To Hit a Bump and Run

Now that you just hit your layup shot, it's time to execute a
bump and run to get close to the pin.To begin with, you
should not be thinking to grab your wedge.Loft makes
full shots easier but in many cases, makes greenside
shots more difficult.

The reason behind the bump and run is to get the ball
on the ground and rolling out quickly, This requires
a shorter swing,which means fewer errors.Play a 6
or 7 iron, toward the back of a slim or narrow stance.
Your weight will lean more to the left side, make
a
simple back and through swing, just like
a long
putting stroke.

Shave Strokes Within the Scoring Zone

When you have a shot within 100 yards of the green,it
requires a higher ball flight. You need to consider this
a pitch shot. This is where you start to create a fuller
swing.

At address, keep your ball position off your left heel
so you can keep your weight left through the stroke.
Swing the club from high to low, finishing with the
clubhead and hands below your shoulders.

Just like in chipping or putting, you have to
let
the club swing back and through with the
right
tempo.

Train Your Swing Tempo with Specifics

Scores come from the execution of individual shots, one after
the other. One great idea is to get a second score card for your
next round,on that card keep track of our swing.Make a check
mark in the box for the swings that you think you had at least
70 percent
of your full effort. Now,you want to match the numbers
when the round is finished. At this point, you will see the connection
between being in control and reducing handicap.

To get better, you must practice shots that are actual course
related.Imagine grandstands on either side,or you can
hit shots in the order you'd hit them on the course.Play
the first few holes at your home course, shot for shot.
Take this to the range, you will improve quickly!

Keys To Pitch Shots

Hit it Higher
Learning to hit the ball higher is one huge aspect of
lowering your scores.Start by visualizing a high
finish, before you make practice swings.Play the ball
just forward of center, trap it against the grass at
impact and get to a high finish position.

Sand Shots
The key to sand shots is to get the clubface open.
Turn the club about 30 degrees, then take your grip.
Your ball position should be forward, hit about an inch
behind the ball and make sure to keep your wrists firm
through impact.
